The Hawthorns station (Train/Metro) is a 5-minute walk away. Trains run from Birmingham New Street/Snow Hill. M5 J1 is only 1/2 mile away.

Warning: Away fans are advised to park on the East side (Middlemore Road) for a smoother exit post-match to avoid home fan congestion.

Away fans are in the Left side of the Smethwick Stand. Access via the turnstiles on Middlemore Road. The ground is the highest in English league football.

Exit routes & evacuation

Follow police cordons towards The Hawthorns station for safe dispersal back to Birmingham.

Exit via the Smethwick End gates directly onto Middlemore Road or towards the specialized bus parking zone.

BHX to New Street is 10 mins by train. From there, take the Metro or Train to The Hawthorns (15 mins).
