Hub
Schiphol (AMS)
Transfer
Schiphol is 25-30 mins by road or 45 mins by train via Haarlem/Heemstede-Aerdenhout.
Tip
Staying in Haarlem is much more convenient than Amsterdam for matches in Velsen-Zuid.
The nearby 'Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland' offers beautiful dunes and nature, while Haarlem city center (15 mins away) is the primary social hub.
RECOMMENDED
Velsen Dunes / Haarlem Center offers good transport links and is generally safe for away supporters.
GATHERING POINT
CENTRAL MEETING POINT
Driehuis Train Station
The main rail gateway for fans traveling from Amsterdam or Haarlem. Most fans assemble here for the short walk through the residential district to the ground.
POLICE PROFILE
CALM
Security is typically relaxed but professional. BOAs (Special Investigation Officers) manage local traffic. Police intervention is reactive; behavior determines the mood.
