GETTING TO THE GROUND

Take Athens Metro Line 1 (Green Line) to 'Faliro' station. The stadium is located directly outside the station. Alternatively, take the Tram to the 'SEF' stop.

Warning: Away fans are often separated at the Metro station. Follow the dedicated fenced walkways and police cordons to avoid the home fan concourses.

Away supporters are typically in the South Stand, Sectors 123-126. Entry is via Gate 27. The section is heavily segregated with fencing.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Bags larger than A4
  • Professional cameras
  • Pyrotechnics
  • Drums (without authorization)

CRITICAL

Expect to be held back for 20-30 minutes post-match. The atmosphere is very intense. Identification is often checked alongside tickets.

Exit routes & evacuation

Designated routes lead directly to the Metro station or the secure coach parking area under police supervision.

Exit via the main wide stairwells of the South Stand as directed by stewards and police towards the Faliro station.

MISSION LOGISTICS

Hub

Athens International Airport (ATH)

Transfer

Metro Line 3 (Blue) to city center or X96 Bus directly to Piraeus harbor. Both take approx. 40-60 mins.

Tip

The X96 bus is the most direct way from the airport specifically to the Piraeus/Stadium area.

RECOMMENDED ZONE

Mikrolimano Harbor is famous for its seafood restaurants and bars. For a more central Athens vibe, Monastiraki and Plaka are reliable choices.

RECOMMENDED

Mikrolimano Harbor offers good transport links and is generally safe for away supporters.

TACTICAL INTEL

GATHERING POINT

CENTRAL MEETING POINT

Syntagma Square (Athens)

Away fans often assemble here for police-escorted transport to the ground. It is the central transportation hub for the region.

POLICE PROFILE

INTENSE

Greek police maintain a very high presence. For high-risk games, they use armor-clad units to create corridors and prevent group mixing. Expect rigorous searches.
