GETTING TO THE GROUND
Estádio do Marítimo (Barreiros) is uphill from Funchal center (20-30 min walk). Bus 8, 45, 48 stop nearby. Taxi is cheap (€6-10).
Warning: The walk is STEEP. Take a taxi/bus up and walk down.
Rebuilt, scenic stadium. Away fans usually in North Stand (Topo Norte) or designated 'Setor Visitante'. Capacity ~10,600.
