GETTING TO THE GROUND

Take S-Bahn lines S7, S8, or S9 from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to the 'Stadion' stop. From there, it is a 10-15 minute walk through the woods to the stadium. Tram 21 also runs to the stadium but is often slower.

Warning: The walk from the S-Bahn station to the away sector (Entrance E2) can take 20 minutes and involves forest paths which are unlit at night. Follow the police-designated route.

Away fans are located in the East Stand (Osttribüne), typically in Block 20 (standing) and surrounding seated blocks. Access is via 'Eingang E2' (Entrance E2). The stand is steep and offers good views.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

  • Bags larger than A4
  • Professional cameras
  • Video cameras
  • Pyrotechnics

CRITICAL

The stadium is located in a forest (Stadtwald). Bags > A4 are prohibited; no storage is available. The away sector has high fences. Payment is cashless (MainPay, card, Apple/Google Pay).

Exit routes & evacuation

Police escort to S-Bahn Stadion station or designated bus parking (P9).

Exit via E2 turnstiles towards the forest path (Waldparkplatz).

MISSION LOGISTICS

Hub

Frankfurt Airport (FRA)

Transfer

One of Europe's busiest hubs. It is very close to the stadium. You can take a taxi directly to the stadium (10 mins) or S-Bahn S8/S9 to 'Stadion' (one stop) or 'Hauptbahnhof'.

Tip

If you have a long layover or early arrival, the stadium is actually closer to the airport than the city center.
