Most non-EU visitors (including UK, USA, and Australia) can enter visa-free for up to 90 days within a 180-day period. As of 2026, the ETIAS electronic travel authorization is mandatory for visa-exempt travelers. Passports must be issued within the last 10 years and be valid for at least 3 months beyond the departure date.

For Estadi Olímpic, take Metro L1 or L3 to Plaça Espanya, then use the outdoor escalators to ascend the hill. For RCDE Stadium, the most direct route from the city center is the FGC (Ferrocarrils) lines L8, S3, or S4 from Plaça Espanya to Cornellà Riera station.
Warning: Public transport tickets must be validated at the barriers; failure to do so results in a €100 fine. Note that T-casual tickets are NOT valid for the Airport Metro stations.
Away fans are usually located in the Gol Nord (North End). Access is via a dedicated security perimeter. Be prepared for a significant walk uphill from the Metro if the escalators are crowded.
PROHIBITED ITEMS
CRITICAL
Tickets are nominative and digital. You must bring a physical ID (Passport or National ID) as stewards frequently reject photos of IDs on phones.
Exit via the North Access gates towards the escalators leading down to Plaça Espanya.
In case of emergency, standard Spanish protocols apply. Use the nearest pukka green exit signs. The stadium is open-air with wide concourses.
Hub
Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN)
Transfer
The Aerobús (A1/A2) runs every 5-10 minutes to Plaça Catalunya. Alternatively, take the R2 Nord train to Sants or Passeig de Gràcia.
Tip
If using the Metro (L9), you must purchase a specific 'Airport ticket' (€5.50) as standard single tickets and T-casual cards will not work at the airport barriers.
Eixample is the best hub for a mix of traditional tapas and modern bars. The area around Carrer d'Enric Granados is popular for nightlife. For a more historic, 'narrow-street' vibe, head to El Born.
RECOMMENDED
Eixample / El Born offers good transport links and is generally safe for away supporters.
GATHERING POINT
CENTRAL MEETING POINT
Plaça Espanya
The primary meeting point for matches at the Estadi Olímpic. It is a massive transport hub with easy access to the stadium via the Montjuïc hill. Expect a heavy police presence and potential cordons on high-risk match days.
POLICE PROFILE
STRICT AND VISIBLE
The Mossos d'Esquadra (Catalan Police) have a low tolerance for street drinking (botellón) and anti-social behavior. Fans are advised to follow instructions immediately and avoid any physical confrontation with security personnel.
