Stadium access – AFAS Stadion
GETTING TO THE GROUND
Take the shuttle bus (Bezoekersbus) from the rear of Alkmaar Centraal Station. It is a 10 min journey.
Warning: Walking from the station to the stadium takes 30-40 mins and is not recommended for away fans due to segregation routes.
Away fans are in the Van der Ben Tribune (North Stand), Sections K and L. Access is via a dedicated tunnel near P5/Gate 7.

CRITICAL
The stadium is compact and the away end holds ~950. Bag policy is strict. The stadium is cashless. Expect a short hold-back.
Exit routes & evacuation
Exit via the dedicated tunnel near P5. Egress is through P6 to the shuttles.
Post-match evacuation is heavily managed. It is mandatory for away supporters to take shuttle buses to Alkmaar station. Follow signs for 'Bezoekersbus'.

The train is the most efficient option.
RECOMMENDED ZONE
Waagplein (Weigh House Square) is the center of nightlife with many outdoor terraces. The Paardenmarkt area is often designated for away fans.
RECOMMENDED
Waagplein offers good transport links and is generally safe for away supporters.
